Georgia announces new lost life insurance policy service
Thống kê Xổ số Kiến GiangATLANTA (AP) — Georgia Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens has partnered with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners to announce a free service that will help Georgia residents track a deceased loved one's benefits.
Thống kê Xổ số Kiến GiangMedia outlets report that Hudgens recently announced the NAIC's Life Insurance Policy Locator. In a statement, Hudgens says the service streamlines and simplifies the process of searching for a lost life insurance policy.
Thống kê Xổ số Kiến GiangParticipating insurers will compare submitted requests with available policyholder information and report all matches to state insurance departments through the locator. Companies will then contact beneficiaries or their authorized representatives.
Hudgens suggests that potential beneficiaries search through the deceased person's records first, contact previous employers and review bank accounts.
