JOB SUMMARY:Thống kê Xổ số Kiến Giang  This position is responsible for general maintenance duties of the Sheriff’s Office buildings and the supervision of trusties for general cleaning.

CHAIN OF COMMAND:  This position answers to the Maintenance Sergeant.

CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Thống kê Xổ số Kiến GiangPerforms maintenance tasks for the Columbia County Sheriff's Office (CCSO)

Supervise trustees for general cleaning and maintenance activities

Thống kê Xổ số Kiến GiangMonitors behavior and maintains accountability of trustees while they are working

Ensures trustees do not enter the Detention Center with contraband

Thống kê Xổ số Kiến GiangEnsures work orders are filled out, completed and filed

Coordinates with other jail personnel to ensure work orders are completed

Maintains emergency generators for the Sheriff’s Office buildings

Thống kê Xổ số Kiến GiangOrders and issues janitorial supplies to employees of the Detention Center

Maintains tool cart inventory and adheres to security relevant to maintenance tools

Performs other duties as needed

KNOWLEDGE OR SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
Thống kê Xổ số Kiến GiangDetailed knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures

Thống kê Xổ số Kiến GiangKnowledge of Sheriff’s Office and Detention Center policies and procedures

Knowledge of CPR and first aid procedures

Skill in written/oral communication, public relations, and the observation of human behavior

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Thống kê Xổ số Kiến GiangHolds Georgia P.O.S.T. jailer certification or is able to attain this certification

Holds current Georgia P.O.S.T. peace officer certification or is able to attain this certification

Associate’s Degree or that equivalent in training and experience

Thống kê Xổ số Kiến GiangPossesses broad-based knowledge of general maintenance procedures

Must qualify on the standard CCSO Handgun/Rifle Course

Thống kê Xổ số Kiến GiangHas or is able to attain certification in the use of oleoresin capsicum (OC) spray

BASIC PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES REQUIRED:
Walking, running moderate distances, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs and ladders
