Thống kê Xổ số Kiến Giang The Application Support Analyst’s role is to provide customer support on various software applications used by the County. Support includes documenting and training customers on how to use applications efficiently and effectively. The position is responsible for troubleshooting application incidents in a timely manner. The position assists in the design, delivery, and improvement of in-house software applications, training programs, and related courseware.
Uses a variety of information system references; uses Federal, State, and local policies, regulations, and procedures; uses County, telephones, terminals, telecommunications equipment, microcomputers and peripheral software and hardware, reference manuals, user documents, and program documentation.
Thống kê Xổ số Kiến GiangWork is performed in an office or computer room with sitting or standing for extended periods. This work area is sometimes noisy. Operating of computer keyboard, mouse and telephone requires dexterity of hands and fingers. Occasionally lifting and transporting computer equipment up to twenty-five pounds. Overtime or shift work may be required to meet project deadlines or for providing support during emergencies.
Create and deploy feedback procedures for customers. Analyze results, make recommendations for support process improvement, and implement changes.

Prioritize, schedule, and administer all instances where enhancements and defect resolution are required.

Maintain and enhance performance of all new and existing software and applications used in the County.

Coordinate with department managers to assess departmental application training needs and objectives.
Participate in the design, development, and delivery of software applications training programs and individual classes.

Perform preventative maintenance, including the installation of service packs, patches, hot fixes, etc.

Escalate incident to internal staff or third party suppliers for problem resolution.
Test new and existing applications for the purposes of software purchase, correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.

Develop and maintain training materials and documentation.
Provide on-call support one week at a time on a rotating basis
Perform other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering, and/or 2-3 years equivalent work experience.
Working knowledge of current Internet technologies.
Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
Working knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards.

Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.
Broad knowledge of programming languages, databases and techniques, including but not limited to: C#, .Net Framework, SQL, Oracle and Progress databases.

Desirable Training & Experience
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Technical degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline desired with two or more programming experience and system support for business applications. An equivalent combination of experience and education may substitute for the years of experience. A fingerprint background check and a valid driver’s license are required.
